From wonderful artisan gifts to beautiful traditional music in unique venues, something for everyone and a great day out for the family to get into the festive spirit.
1. Stonham Barns Christmas Craft Market
Start your Christmas shopping early at Stonham Barns Park Annual Christmas Craft Market and see what special gifts you can find for your family and friends. Stalls with hand-made locally produced gifts that you will not find on the High Street. Mulled Wine, Minced Pies and other Christmas goodies available to purchase. Santa’s Grotto and other entertainment for the children.

2. Bury St. Edmunds Christmas Market
St Edmundsbury Cathedral opens its doors for its annual Christmas Market.
60-plus stallholders from Suffolk and beyond will showcase their products – a perfect place to find your Christmas gifts and to shop local. With everything from books and jewellery to gin and clothing, there will be something of interest for everyone, including stalls offering customisation of items there and then!
You’ll get the chance to browse stalls while also taking in the beautiful setting of the 16th century Cathedral. In addition to the shopping experience, there will be daily entertainment for visitors including carols and live music.

3. Suffolk Farmer’s Christmas Market, Trinity Park
Festive food is the centrepiece to this annual event. Local producers and suppliers of bread and bakery items, locally reared meats, and local sourced pantry goodies. And a wide selection of gifts and presents from local businesses. Plenty to eat and drink to keep you fortified as you shop.

4. Suffolk County Christmas Fair, Hintlesham Hall, Ipswich
Your Christmas shopping all wrapped up at the Suffolk County Christmas Fair in the beautiful grounds of Hintlesham Hall, Ipswich. Over 3 days, over 120 stalls to choose festive produce or gifts and presents, live entertainment throughout, and food and drink.

5. Lavenham Christmas Market
On the Saturday, the Craft Market will be open from 10am until 4pm where you will find the Village Hall packed with gorgeous stalls selling top quality handmade items and a delicious Pop Up Cafe that will also be open serving brunch and light lunches as well as the very best freshly baked cakes.
On the Sunday, the event will run in conjunction with the award winning Lavenham Farmers Market, officially the Best Farmers Market in the UK! The Farmers Market will be held outside and all crafters will be inside. The cafe will not be open on Sunday because the Farmers Market has delicious hot stuffed bagels as well as lots of freshly baked cakes and plenty of coffee!

6. Newmarket Christmas Makers Market
Embrace the magic of Christmas!
Find one-of-a-kind gifts for your loved ones at the Christmas makers market located in the heart of this famous West Suffolk town, from cards and candles to personalised goods and sweet treats, there will be plenty to help with those last minute stocking filler dilemmas!
Support local businesses and speak to talented traders about your favourite products.

7. Clare Christmas Fair
The Christmas Fair has become a successful and much-loved local event over the last few years, growing in size and reputation and bringing in visitors from far and wide.
With around 70 exhibitors in the Parish Church and the Town Hall, you will find a wealth of ideas for your Christmas shopping. These range from decorative ceramics, glass, artworks, floristry and children’s books and games to festive fare and drinks, natural soaps, jewellery and accessories, plus many lovely crafted items from our talented and creative stall holders.

The fair is open on Friday from 5 – 8pm and on Saturday from 10am – 7pm.
