Overview

Drift Cottage is your perfect escape in the heart of peaceful Suffolk. Hidden at the end of a country footpath in Rendlesham, this is the perfect spot to truly unwind and switch off from it all. The cottage itself is super charming, with cosy living spaces, a country-style kitchen, four comfortable bedrooms, a great games... room, two bathrooms and a huge utility room.

With the Suffolk countryside on your doorstep, Drift Cottage is ideal for relaxed walks, cycling, and just taking in the fresh country air. While the cottage is beautifully rural, you're not far from traditional Suffolk villages and stunning beaches for when you need something a bit different. It’s the perfect place to kick back, explore a bit, and really relax.

Features

Tucked away at the end of a country path, Drift Cottage is super peaceful and private.

Walk inside and it's got a lovely, cosy feel, with old beams and exposed brick walls. The living room is a total chill-zone: think comfy sofas, a fireplace that's just asking to be lit, and lovely wooden floors. The country kitchen is well-equipped for cooking up anything you fancy, and there's a big utility room at the back, complete with a walk-in pantry and plenty of space to store all your stuff.

Upstairs you'll find four lovely bedrooms, all with gorgeous countryside...
views. Bedrooms 1 and 4 have good-sized double beds. Bedroom two has got a lovely king-sized bed (you might have to flip a coin for that one), and bedroom three is a handy twin room. The linens are super soft and there are wardrobes in every room, and each have their own little charming touches that we think you'll love.

When you need to freshen up, there’s a convenient shower room downstairs, while upstairs there’s a big family bathroom with a bath and shower over.

The Location

Rendlesham is tucked away in a super chilled pocket of the Suffolk countryside. It’s not exactly a bustling town, more of a quiet, peaceful village kind of feel. You’ll find those classic Suffolk sights around here - rolling fields, big skies, and the occasional charming little farmhouse.

This is a proper get-away-from-it-all place, which is just the ticket for when you want to escape the daily grind. If you’re into a gentle wander, you’ve got loads of countryside footpaths and bridleways right on your doorstep which are great for leisurely walks, a bike ride if you fancy, or even...
a spot of gentle nature spotting. The area is pretty flat so it's very relaxed going. You'll find the area surrounded by nature reserves such as Rendlesham Forest and the Suffolk Coasts and Heath AONB.

Enjoy the peace and quiet of a slightly rural setting, yet remain within easy reach of both coastal and village attractions. Gorgeous sandy beaches are just a quick drive away, as are quaint, traditional Suffolk villages. Discover fantastic eateries such as The Unruly Pig, a celebrated gastropub frequently recognised as one of Britain’s finest.
