Secretly squirrelled away in the Suffolk countryside is Grove Farm Barn, our stunning, traditional timber framed barn. Inside, the magnificent double-height ceilings and exposed beams create a sense of spaciousness and rustic charm. The vast living area provides plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax and even features a dedicated games corner...
for the more competitive guests! The barn comfortably sleeps four guests in one ground-floor bedroom and one mezzanine bedroom, each enjoying its own bathroom.
Situated within the grounds of the owners' picturesque farm, guests are invited to unwind in the cottage-style gardens or chill out by the charming pond. For the explorers out there, the vibrant market town of Halesworth is nearby, as are the charismatic coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh.

Step into a huge open-plan living and dining area, designed for both relaxation and entertainment. Sink into one of the comfy sofas in the two separate living areas, perfect for movie nights around the Smart TV or cosy chats. When it's time to eat, gather around the dining table that seats six. And for a little friendly competition, unleash your inner champion at the snooker and football tables tucked away at the back!

you need to whip up delicious meals or simple snacks. Enjoy a quick bite or morning coffee at the cute breakfast table for 4.
When it's time for bath and bed, head to the bright ground floor bedroom and sink into the super king-sized bed. A convenient shower room is just steps away. Alternatively, climb the stairs to the mezzanine level and discover another cosy retreat! This bedroom has a slightly quirky layout - a three-quarter height wall separates it from the main living area, creating a sense of openness with a touch of privacy. Finally, get ready to... duck! Just a little! You'll need to duck through the doorway to enter the ensuite bathroom, but inside you'll find a relaxing bath for soaking the day away.

Living / Dining Area
A large open space with two separate living spaces, both with comfy sofas and armchairs. The main living space has a coffee table and Smart TV. The dining table comfortably seats six guests. At the rear of the room is a snooker table and table football. Please note that while the doors directly behind the TV can be opened for fresh air, the garden beyond is private.
Kitchen
The country style kitchen is well equipped with an oven & hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle and washing machine. There is a handy breakfast table for 4.
Ground Floor Bedroom
The sunny ground floor bedroom has a king-sized bed that can also be set up as a twin, bedside tables, armchair, chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
Shower Room
The shower room offers a shower, WC and wash basin with vanity.
Mezzanine Level
Bedroom
The mezzanine bedroom has a king-sized bed, bedside tables, dressing table, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Please note that this bedroom has a three-quarter heigh wall separating it from the main living space.
Bathroom
You will need to duck through the door into the ensuite which offers a bath, WC, washbasin and storage. -
Garden
The garden offers a delightful mix of spaces to enjoy. The patio alongside the shingle driveway is a real suntrap, perfect for soaking up some rays. Wander through the archway, and you'll discover a large pond, complete with seating for relaxing by the water. Plus, there's a separate lawned area with small trees, offering a great spot for a kickabout or sunny picnic. -

There is parking for two cars in the signed parking space at the front of the barn. -

Please note that pets are not allowed at Grove Farm Barn.
Due to an unfenced pond on site, children must be supervised at all times.

The Location
Grove Farm Barn is located near the quiet village of Chediston in the heart of Suffolk, it’s a perfect spot for a quiet countryside stroll or cycle. Just nearby, Halesworth, a thriving market town, brings a lively contrast with its independent shops, cosy cafes, and bustling thoroughfare. Here, you’ll find everything from organic produce at Focus, a local institution for 40 years, to quirky homewares at Huus. With its array of amenities including antique stores, flower shops, and charming cafes, you’ll always find something interesting.
For food lovers, the area’s pubs have big beer gardens, perfect for outdoor dining....
The Huntingfield Arms is the friendly local that serves excellent home produced food while The Queens Head in Bramfield is a great choice for pub food with a modern twist. If you’re in the mood for a bit of adventure, the Eelsfoot at East Bridge offers wood-fired pizzas and The Ship at Dunwich provides a perfect spot to eat after a beach visit.
Outdoor enthusiasts will also love the area’s beautiful beaches and nature reserves. Covehithe, a hidden gem, offers a peaceful, sandy beach with a scenic walk to reach it. For a more traditional seaside experience, head to Southwold or Dunwich where you can enjoy quiet walks along the stony beach or visit the fascinating Dunwich Museum to learn about the village’s lost history. Don’t forget to check out the RSPB Minsmere for birdwatching, and the nearby Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, where you’ll find scenic walks and unique architectural sights.
