As you wind your way up to Redisham Hall, prepare to be charmed by this historic gem. The captivating and historic estate boasts a rich heritage dating back to the 13th century. Although the house itself was constructed in the 19th century, it has since been meticulously transformed into a cherished family home, surrounded by... expansive gardens and breathtaking countryside views.

Sleeping up to 22 (max 16 adults) guests in 9 bedrooms, this is a wonderful getaway for family gatherings or friends looking to catch up, whether it's celebrating a special occasion or simply spending much-needed quality time together.

There is an abundance of space to enjoy. Inside, you'll discover soaring ceilings, grand halls, wood-panelled rooms, warming wood burners, beautiful bedrooms, and a games room to entertain the whole family. Outside, you will find acres of spectacular parkland to explore. This is period living at its finest!

Set in the heart of the stunning Waveney Valley, just a bit over three hours from London, it's perfect for an extended weekend break or something a little longer. Message from the Owner

Hello and thank you for your interest in coming to stay at Redisham Hall. Once the home of Princess Caroline Murat, the great niece of Napolean Bonaparte, it has been in our family for almost 100 years and we are delighted to now be welcoming holiday guests for the first time. If you have any questions or unusual requests, then do get in touch with the amazing team at Curious Retreats, as I'm sure we can accommodate most things! If you find yourselves booking a holiday here, do take the time to speak to any of our wonderful staff who work on the estate, as they know all about its history, some of them having been with us for over 70 years.

The Location

Redisham is a picturesque village that radiates a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The area surrounding Redisham is a dream for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Plunge yourself into the stunning Suffolk landscape, characterised by rolling hills, lush fields, and scenic woodlands. Numerous walking and cycling paths invite you to explore and discover the natural beauty of the region. Keep an eye out for local wildlife and enjoy the peace and quiet that this restful countryside offers.

A short drive from Redisham brings you to the charming...
market town of Beccles. Located on the River Waveney, Beccles is a delightful destination known for its historic buildings, independent shops, and bustling market. Enjoy a leisurely boat trip on the river or a relaxing walk along its picturesque banks.

For a taste of culture, head to Halesworth, another nearby town renowned for its vibrant arts scene. Explore galleries, theatres, and participate in annual festivals that celebrate the rich artistic heritage of the area. Halesworth also offers an array of boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants, perfect for a day of exploration and indulgence.

If a day at the beach sounds inviting, head east towards the coast where you will find the glorious, sandy beaches of Southwold, Covehithe (our personal fave) and Kessingland, which is great for families.
