Sleeping up to 22 guests in 9 bedrooms, this is a wonderful getaway for family gatherings or friends looking to catch up, whether it's celebrating a special occasion or simply spending much-needed quality time together.
There is an abundance of space to enjoy. Inside, you'll discover soaring ceilings, grand halls, wood-panelled rooms, warming wood burners, beautiful bedrooms, and a games room to entertain the whole family. Outside, you will find acres of spectacular parkland to explore. This is period living at its finest!
Set in the heart of the stunning Waveney Valley, just a bit over three hours from London, it's perfect for a long weekend break or something a little longer. With the beautiful market town of Beccles to the north and the stunning sandy beaches of Covehithe, Southwold, and Kessingland to the east, you will be spoilt for choice for great days out.

As you would expect for such an impressive home, Redisham Hall has an abundance of space; whether you’re hosting an exciting celebration or seeking some quiet time to recharge, this place has got you covered.
On the ground floor, you'll discover the elegant drawing room which is a dream to retire to after a long day. Swing open the French doors in summer and let the cool breeze in, or fire up the wood burner in winter for a toasty, snug night. Feeling competitive? Head to the games room where snooker, table tennis, and darts await.
The kitchen...
is the heart of this home, featuring a spacious, country-style setup with a social island perfect for those lazy breakfasts, brunches and lunches. French doors lead to the patio for effortless alfresco dining. You'll find the kitchen fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to rustle up a gourmet spread, with a large range cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee machine along with other essentials.
One of our favourite spots is the gorgeous formal dining room which is just perfect for a celebratory meal. With its rich burgundy walls and grand dining table, it’s got all the right vibes for a fancy feast. And yes, there’s even a grand piano for those after-dinner sing-alongs.
Up the grand staircase, you’ll find 9 stunning bedrooms, each with its own unique charm. From the unique bunk room to the classic twin room with wood panelling, there’s a space for everyone.
Need even more room? Redisham Hall also offers a separate Garden Wing for up to 4 additional guests. This independent flat boasts its own sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and two additional bedrooms, while also being accessible via the main house. Please enquire for more details and pricing.

Reception Hall
The property welcomes you into a grand reception hall which leads off to the main stairwell, dining room and games room.
Kitchen
The gorgeous country-style kitchen is spacious and well equipped with tall French doors opening up onto the patio. There is a large central island and an accommodating breakfast table for more casual meals. The kitchen boasts an oven & hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and Nespresso Magimix coffee machine.
Drawing Room
The perfect spot to wind down in the evenings with comfy sofas and a warming wood burner.
Dining Room
Grand and inviting, the dining room features a large dining table that can seat up to 20 people. In the corner you will also find a grand piano!
Games Room
Ideal for the young at heart, the games room has an informal sitting area with TV, snooker table, table tennis table and a darts board.
Snug
A handy spot for late night movie watching, the snug has comfy sofas, TV and an array of DVDs to keep you entertained.
WC
Conveniently located on the ground floor, this bathroom has a WC and wash basin.

Step outside and you’ll be greeted by the sprawling wonders of Redisham Hall’s gardens. The raised patio, accessible from the kitchen, sitting room, and dining room, is your go-to spot for outdoor dining, BBQs, and even some sun-soaking. From here, you’ll have a stunning view of perfectly manicured lawns, vibrant herbaceous borders, and a picturesque pond. For added leisure, the garden offers a boules piste for a post-dinner game, as well as a beautiful croquet lawn, ensuring there's always something to enjoy outdoors.
Beyond the formal gardens, you will find vast parklands just waiting for a leisurely stroll or a countryside saunter. Feeling a bit daring? We can set you up for a round of clay pigeon shooting. It’s a blast!
And don’t miss the Walled Kitchen Garden and its charming tea room, open to visitors from May to September. Explore the plant nursery, where you can pick up estate-grown produce, plus a delightful selection of plants, pots, and garden goodies. -

Hello and thank you for your interest in coming to stay at Redisham Hall. Once the home of Princess Caroline Murat, the great niece of Napolean Bonaparte, it has been in our family for almost 100 years and we are delighted to now be welcoming holiday guests for the first time. If you have any questions or unusual requests, then do get in touch with the amazing team at Curious Retreats, as I'm sure we can accommodate most things! If you find yourselves booking a holiday here, do take the time to speak to any of our wonderful staff who work on the estate, as they know all about its history, some of them having been with us for over 70 years.

Keep an eye out for local wildlife and enjoy the peace and quiet that this restful countryside offers.
A short drive from Redisham brings you to the charming...
market town of Beccles. Located on the River Waveney, Beccles is a delightful destination known for its historic buildings, independent shops, and bustling market. Enjoy a leisurely boat trip on the river or a relaxing walk along its picturesque banks.
For a taste of culture, head to Halesworth, another nearby town renowned for its vibrant arts scene. Explore galleries, theatres, and participate in annual festivals that celebrate the rich artistic heritage of the area. Halesworth also offers an array of boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants, perfect for a day of exploration and indulgence.
If a day at the beach sounds inviting, head east towards the coast where you will find the glorious, sandy beaches of Southwold, Covehithe (our personal fave) and Kessingland, which is great for families.
