Overview
The Cider Store is not just cool - it's sub-zero. This stylish, converted barn is the brainchild of the infinitely inventive couple Gem and Thom. They've sculpted a sanctuary that’s all about kicking back, shoes off and stress forgotten.
With space for up to six lucky guests, this place has three tremendously trendy bedrooms,... an open-plan living room with a cosy wood-burning stove that laughs in the face of chilly evenings and a farmhouse kitchen that’ll make you want to play chef.
The Cider Store is one of three retreats on gorgeous Paradise Farm which offers 10 sprawling acres of grounds, along with a shared heated pool (April – Oct), kids play area and firepit. The property does have its own private garden where you can wind down and rest up after a day exploring.
Located in the quaint village of Westhall, a mere stone's throw (or a leisurely drive) from the bustling market town of Halesworth, this spot is prime real estate for both rural rovers and beach bums alike. Whether you're here to tramp through fields or tread along the coast, The Cider Store offers a stylish base camp for all your adventures. Just try not to get too attached - remember, you'll have to leave eventually!

Oh, and then there’s the bathroom. We’re talking a... claw-foot tub that practically begs for long, luxurious soaks.
And if that wasn’t enough, Gem and Thom, your top-notch hosts, are here to make your stay unforgettable. From private chefs and beauty treatments to yoga classes, wine tastings, and flower workshops, they’ve got everything you need to curate the perfect getaway. If you’re celebrating something big, check out the Event Barn—it’s ready to host all the memorable moments.

A great open plan space decorated in earthy neutrals. The kitchen is well-equipped and features a large dining table that comfortably seats six guests. The living area has two comfortable sofas, coffee table and toasty wood burner.

A gorgeous bedroom with a king-sized bed, bedside tables and hanging space for clothes. The room features an ensuite with a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin.
Bedroom 2
Bedroom 2 offers a king-sized bed, bedside tables and hanging space for clothes. The stylish ensuite features a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin.
Bedroom 3
Beadroom 3 features twin beds, a bedside table and chest of drawers.
Bathroom
The stunning family sized bathroom features a traditional claw-foot bath, walk-in shower, WC and wash basin. -
Garden
The Cider Store boasts a fenced garden with a patio and a grassy area perfect for alfresco fun. Bring on the BBQ showdown - pick from a Weber, a Komodo, or the Somerset grill, or test out your pizza skills on the outdoor pizza oven!
Feel like exploring? Wander the farm grounds and make a splash in the heated pool (open April to October). The little ones can let loose in the play area, complete with a trampoline, slide, and even a mud kitchen! And, of course, the resident farm animals are on hand to add a little extra charm. You’ll meet the Kune pigs with their curly tails, playful Pygmy Goats, and the cuddly Valais Black Nose Sheep, all adding a dash of country magic to your stay. -

No smoking is permitted inside the property.
All ages welcome, children must be under adult supervision at all times due to ponds and pools.
One small dog is welcome and must be on a lead around the other animals. Please note there is a £30 dog fee.
The property offers EV charging at a fixed price per overnight charge. Please select the number of charges you require during the booking process.
Please note this property has a Security Deposit of £250. -

The Location
The Cider Store is located in the pretty village of Westhall in the Waveney Valley region of Suffolk. While Westhall is a quiet village, it is also well-positioned for exploring other parts of Suffolk.
The charming market town of Halesworth is just a short drive away, offering independent shops, cafes, and pubs as well as the New Cut Arts Centre, which hosts events, exhibitions, and performances that draw in locals and visitors alike. Just beyond Halesworth, you’ll find the Suffolk Heritage Coast, with its breathtaking coastal towns like Southwold and Walberswick, both known for their sandy beaches, quaint seaside... charm, and the famous Southwold Pier.
