Originally a Vicarage this magnificent property has been lovingly cared for and restored across three generations into a warm and welcoming family home. Every room within the home is a testament to unique elegance, beautifully decorated with lovingly crafted details at every corner. The main house offers a trifecta of living areas along with a formal dining room and an open plan kitchen and dining area. If that’s not ample space, the separate Coach House is on offer with its full-sized billiards table, expansive leather sofas and a crackling fireplace, an idyllic setting for late-night revelry and gatherings!
Outside there are ten acres of beautifully manicured gardens. Take a stroll through the rose arch and admire the variety of exotic trees brought back from the monks’ far-off travels. Engage in a friendly match of tennis on the all-weather lawn tennis court, nestled amidst eight majestic columns that add a touch of grandeur to the game. Finally, enjoy a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear swimming pool or soak up the sun’s rays on one of the lazy loungers. Additionally, the orangery serves as a versatile space for afternoon tea, quiet reading, or casual family lunches, accessible from both the courtyard and garden.
And if all that space wasn’t enough, the Coach House provides a relaxing end to the day, featuring a grand fireplace, Sonos sound, and a widescreen TV - perfect for games or after-parties. For those seeking exercise options, the small gym in the pool house offers a running machine and light weights, catering to fitness needs beyond local walks or bike rides.

Living Room

Dining Room
Equally elegant is the formal dining space. The rooms boast view over the garden along with an imposing fireplace and a large dining table that can seat up to 22 guests.
Cloaks
There are two handy cloakrooms on the ground floor, one opposite the main staircase and one near the rear door.
Kitchen
The modern country-style kitchen is well equipped to cater for your entire party. A large aga dominates the room and is accompanied by electric hob and oven. There is a walk-in pantry that stores the essentials and a separate scullery with a second fridge and dishwasher to ensure larger parties are well accommodated for. There is a large breakfast bar and a built-in dining area, providing plenty of space to enjoy casual meals or midnight snack!
Snug
Leading directly off the kitchen is the handy snug area. Cosy and comfy, with large sofas and a wood-burner this is the perfect spot for a quiet read, kids to play or a movie marathon.
Orangery
Mediterranean in feel, the orangery provides a distinctly gown up space for relaxing on a sunny sofa or having a lazy brunch on the large dining table.

Please note there are two private rooms on the ground floor that are not available to guests.
First Floor
Master Bedroom
The epitome of elegance, the master bedroom has views over the gardens and St Michaels Church. The room boasts a super king-sized bed and walk in wardrobe. There is also a Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime along with a Sonos surround sound system. Furthermore, the master bedroom benefits from a luxurious en-suite with free standing claw foot bathtub.
The Blue Bedroom
A calming room of beautiful blue tones and dramatic bay window, the blue bedroom offers guests a super king size bed, sofa, desk and feature fireplace. The room has direct access to family sized bathroom which can be used as an en-suite or shared with other rooms on the floor.
The Oriental Bedroom
Escape to the East in this spacious bedroom, offering an emperor bed, seating area and beautiful views overlooking the gardens.
The Yellow Bedroom
Sunny and bright with a super king-sized bed, feature fireplace and an interconnecting door to Thomas’s Room.
Thomas’s Bedroom
Pretty in pink, Thomas’s bedroom has a king-sized bed, chest of drawers and an interconnecting door to the Yellow Bedroom.
Sweet Pea
Sweet in name and nature, this pretty twin room has two single beds and views over the courtyard and Coach House.
Jennifer’s Bedroom
Decorated in warm pinks and yells, this happy bedroom has a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom.
Robin’s Bedroom
Bold and beautiful, Robin’s Bedroom delights with a super king-sized bed, built-in wardrobes and a large en-suite with claw foot bath.
Family Bathroom
The large family bathroom includes as bathtub, shower, vanity and WC.
Cloak Room
There is a small cloakroom next to Thomas’s bedroom with a WC and vanity.
Second Floor
Attic Bedroom 1
This one gives us island vibes with a beautiful cane super king-sized bed and charming dormer window.
Attic Bedroom 2
Gorgeous in green with a king-sized bed and dormer window overlooking the gardens.
Attic Bedroom 3
A cosy twin room with two single beds.
Bathroom
A handy bathroom, with a WC, shower and vanity serves all three attic bedrooms.
Outside
The Coach House
Perfect for parties, The Coach House offers a full-size billiards table, expansive sofas, a built-in bar for serving you favourite drinks, a Smart TV and dramatic open fireplace.
The Pool Room
Located within the swimming pool area, the pool room provides a small kitchen, a gym with weights and equipment and two separate shower and changing rooms. -
Garden
Designed by award winning landscape designed, Xa Tollemache, the gardens of Tunstall Hall are truly breathtaking. With an array of exotic tree and plants you can enjoy leisurely strolls through the rose arch and woodland and finish with a picnic under the 35-meter-tall Cedar tree. Refresh yourself with a dip in the walled private swimming pool or get competitive with a game of tennis on the all-weather astroturf court, a spot of croquet or try your hand at lawn bowls. -
Parking
There is ample off-road, gated parking within the grounds of Tunstall Hall. -
House Rules
Check-in: 4pm
Check-out: 10am (4pm on Sundays)
Tunstall Hall is dog friendly however please note we charge an additional £100 per dog and we require that they stay downstairs at all times.
There is an un-fenced pond on the grounds and therefore children and pets should be supervised at all time.
Please note that Mog, the friendly cat, is in residence. Please let us know if this is an issue.
The pool is open and heated all year round.
Please note this property has a Security Deposit of £1000. -
